Chocolate E-Paper Concept
The Red Dot Design Award registering period is ending on January 18 and we are anxious to see the final list of participants and the winners, but we’ll have to be patient until then and in the mean time to take a look at last year finalists.I want to present you the winner of Best of the best design concept in Entertainment category of last year event, which is the E-Paper from Chocolate Agency Chinese company.Unlike known to you from CES 2008, Chocolate E-Paper is still a futuristic concept but more spectacular than the one existent. Why? Because it is lighter, thinner, suppler and cheaper to produce, but it also saves more power. With such characteristics, Chocolate E-Paper would be used in creating different shapes for everyday use products like round devices to be worn as bracelets on your wrist and computer or TV displays. In bracelet shape, this E-Paper would be adjustable in length and will also have removable inserts, while a kinetic power generator would be a long and reliable energy source for it.Chocolate Agency proposed three basic uses of their E-Paper and these are: E-Paper MP3/MP4 player bracelet, E-Paper GPS bracelet, and E-Paper Digital Photo Frame cube.

The Energizer Solar Battery Charger
Energizer is going green next year by launching the Energizer Rechargeable Solar Charger. The device will, quite obviously, convert sunlight into power for rechargable AA and AAA batteries as well as provide USB output for devices. The supplementary functionality of a wall plug for inside power sessions further increases the effectiveness and appeal of the new gadget. It looks to go on sale this summer for about $50 which is a little pricey for a battery charger, but not overly so, and is worth it to be able to utilize solar for your batteries.

S3000, A6000 & M8000 Pavilion Slimline by HP
You can buy the a6000 at a lower price then the s3000. It’s just 330$ but you would be throwing off some memory because it has only 512 MB of RAM. But the bright side is that it comes with an Intel CPU, a Pocket Media Drive and a graphics card. But the “jewel of the crown” is the m8000. And the price says so to. At 950$ it has a DVD drive and again you can pick between a dual core AMD or Intel processor. All three models have Windows Vista preinstalled.

Pillete
Pillete, the new concept of Bluetooth headset is so tiny, it’s almost invisible to the untrained eye when you are wearing it. So you don’t have to worry anymore about looking like Robocop when walking down the street with it, but you have to consider the possibility of people starting to think you’ve lost your marbles and you’re talking to yourself.
The downside is the fact that people have different sized ears and the device might be too small and slip out or to big and not fit. People who often use earphones will tell you I’m right. But once they’ll figure out a way to make the Pillete adjustable, this design will be the future of all headsets
Flyclear Card
To get one, you have to go to a Clear center and present two official identification cards. Then you have to take a photo and give them your biometric information. They suggest that you should have a US passport, but foreign people are welcomed to.
So now you can eliminate the stress from your plane trips, not worry about those hidden pierces and miss a lot less planes. The Flyclear has already been put into function but for very few airports like Orlando, San Jose and JFK and the service is not available all day long. But there are plans to expand this technology
